Last trimester sex

My whole last trimester I haven't been able to finish I finish when he goes down on me but not when we make love, I just tried to get things to move faster by doing it doggy because today at 11am I was dilated to a 2 so I'm trying to speed things up does it only work if I finish? Or will it work if just he finishes?
