chemical pregnancy

Hi all

I recently had a positive blood test result. A week later I had more blood work done and my progesterone dropped significantly and my fertility dr said I was in early stages of miscarrying. I just got what I think is my period today. (a week after my positive blood test) Does anyone have experience with a chemical pregnancy? I just don't know how this works. I'm still in shock that I'm not pregnant.
