Celexa while pregnant?

My Dr. Said it would be fine to stay on my Celexa during pregnancy, but of course I still worry. I'm 36 and ttc #3. I have tried weaning myself off of it before with not good results. Anyone have experience with Celexa during pregnancy?

I'm glad you posted this. I'm going to my OBGYN Thursday to talk about ttc. I'm currently on celexa and have never been happier. I've heard you can take it while pregnant but some don't recommend it . I'm interested to see what my doctor says. Zoloft didn't work for me and I feel so good while on celexa I'm hoping it's something I can continue .

I was on Celexa up until 8weeks and then went off cold turkey. The withdrawal is pretty weird. My entire body felt like it was tingling/like it was falling asleep. And my depression and anxiety are back. I'm thinking about asking for a Zoloft prescription because I'm worried about  how the stress will affect the baby. I think if the doctor says it safe, it should be safe. Celexa might be safe, but no one is going to run tests on pregnant women. Woo.

I'm on celexa as well and 6 weeks pregnant. My Drs want me to get off and switch to Zoloft. They said it is not a safe drug for baby. Currently transitioning, on 5mg of celexa. But I'm scared of switching to Zoloft as I've heard mixed things about it. It's tough!
