Going back to work?
I know for a fact I'm going to have to go back to work. It drives me crazy that I don't work now. Living with our family isn't something we can do forever (the plan is to be gone by spring of next year). The thing is is that I can't rely on family to babysit our lady. His folks are 4 hours away, my mom is on chemo indefinitely and even though we live with her, I don't want to leave her responsible for taking care of my kid when she needs to rest and take care of her (not saying she can't do anything, but at times she gets really weak and I personally would feel crappy to have her take care of baby). We can't have half our paycheck going toward childcare when it needs to go toward other things. So the only solution we could come up with is that we work opposite shifts of each other. Does anyone else do this? Any advice on the subject?
