is this too much to ask?

my ex's mom is a big mouth on social media, and I've gone back and forth on telling my baby daddy I'm even in labor (he wants a DNA test so would it even matter?) because I don't want word to get out. when I found out I was pregnant, they told EVERYONE before I even got the chance to. I had to announce at 9w because they stole it from me. is this too much to ask? or could I word it differently? we've just recently gotten on good terms and I want them to be there, I just don't want them ruining it for me when they haven't been around the last 9 months!
