I might be pregnant? Maybe?

Okay so my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex for like, 2 months now. We had sex on my most fertile day (33%) and now I might be pregnant. I just want to know how long I should wait to take the test. I looked it up and it said 5-7 days after sex, but then another place it says wait til you missed your period. I just want to know what some of you would recommend?
