Which diaper brand is best?

It all depends on the baby. My little one can't wear anything other than huggies or pampers, if she does she breaks out in horrible diaper rash. However, I have friends who have the opposite problem. Honest diapers leak horribly on my daughter, but I have two friends who say anything other than Honest diapers leak. I would say to stock up on a bunch of different brands and experiment to find out which works best for you.

It depends on baby's skin and size. My babies aren't super chubby and I found target brand didn't work for me but my SIL who had chubby leg babies worked great for her. I had most success with Pampers Swaddlers then to Pampers baby dry.

If you can afford a more expensive, traditional brand I say Pamper is the best but if you want a cheaper brand Luvs is great! I get the biggest box of Luvs through Amazon Prime once a month for under $35. That's over 200 diapers for under $35/month. I wouldn't recommend Huggins though. I've tried using them several times & they tend to like to leak.

I cloth diaper but I had a point where I used disposables for a bit and I love Target brand. I will cloth diaper this one but I will start at 3 or 4 months until then I will use Target.
