Which way of birth is easier?

I am a pelvic floor physical therapist ( google it) and I specialize in finding the most relaxed positions of these muscles... Squatting not only widens the base of the pelvis, but also allows the pelvic floor muscles to be completely relaxed, given the best ability to stretch.  In my opinion, as a specialist and as a fellow pregnant woman, squatting is the best position to be in to give birth and I will be in that position to birth my child.

I would say squatting seems more natural as well. I've had both of my children while laying down and I would rather have squat but my hospital wouldn't let me move... 😕

I gave birth squatting with all for pregnancies. With my first one I gave birth in hospital. Nurses repeatedly told me to lie down on my back but I simply couldn't handle my contractions in that position. At some point I told one of the nurses to go F k  her self because she was trying to force me to lie down. I then told her if she touches me one more time I'm making a case of harassment against her. She left and never came back in.

With my other three kids I gave birth at home with a very supportive midwife who allowed me to give birth in the position I preferred

I'm just going off of observation on TV shows. I have c sections... I picked squatting, seems more natural

I've heard birthing on all fours is better.  I hear squatting is good but you should really practice and prepare BEFORE labor starts.  If you don't squat regularly then it might be difficult to do it when the time comes.
