Tips for swallowing?

I'm apparently pretty good at blowjobs, but suck at swallowing. I've heard the "swallow as he cums" thing and tried it, but I always accidentally suck too hard when I do. I've tried waiting until he's done, but a bit too much comes out or it hits the back of my throat and I feel like I'm gonna puke. My boyfriend and I are trying to work out how to do it, but he's not necessarily an expert on this thing. XD

So, any no/swallowing tips you can throw my way? Or maybe some ways I could make the end great for both of us that don't involve swallowing?
