Family jealousy?

Why would a family member be jealous of my pregnancy? It's not like she can't have kids she had a daughter a year ago

Girl I feel you... I have a member of my family who has 2 beautiful children. I got pregnant and all she talked about (out of the blue) was how she missed being pregnant and blah blah.... And OF course, now she's "accidentally" pregnant. Wanna hear something else even crazier? So we live in Florida... It's storm season. No big deal. I have my baby shower set for June 25th. BUT if anything happens, it would be moved to the 26th because weather is so tentative. EVERYONE has known that for MONTHS. now all of the sudden, she's having her gender reveal on the 26th?!?!?! WHAT THE HECK!? I'm due July 21st and she's due I think December 17th. I'm just so frustrated because why would you do that to family? And to make it worse, she's the type of person who makes everything about her, clearly, and I just thought it would kind of be different because her and I are so close,... But nope. I was wrong.

Because people get broody. Its just hormones. she is probably thinking about hers when she was newborn and that you will have that soon and she wont.

Went through this... Cousins wife was pissed her baby girl.wouldnt be "the family baby" for long.. We had a stillborn, guess who posted all over facebook for "prayers" and "needing support to get through this difficult time"... And she didnt even go to his.funeral or his balloon release... Its been 11 months amd shes mad again because.my rainbow.is due any day.when her kid is already a year old... Some people.you just have to ignore in life or they will bring you down...

Having sort of the same problem with my SIL.. She is super excited but she admitted to me while we were starting up the registry that she's been trying for 3 years, her first born Derek is 5 already and she is a little envious because we weren't planning to get pregnant and she's been trying for so long. Be patient and be kind because you never know what she's going through

Ahh the joys of jealousy! 😂 my parents are extremely jealous of my pregnancy! Mind you they are in their 40's, mom is fixed and dad is a druggie and Alcoholic! Tom (my dad) has expressed his hatred for me because I'm pregnant with a little boy! 🤔 where they do that at? Terrible! I've been told worse but we won't go into such long details!
