Baby Shower Opinion
So, I recently moved across the country from all my friends and family. I know my family is going to want to throw me a baby shower at some point, but we can't really afford the flight out right now (quit my job to be stay at home mom, I'm a teacher so out for summer) and even if I did...there's no way to get the gifts home.
This is the same reason I didn't have a bridal shower.
A ton of people keep saying to have an online party or something, but is that tacky? I hate basically asking for gifts and stuff. But they ARE helpful, and I'm beginning to get resentful of being so far away.
Any suggestions? Should we just skip it?
