benadryl the night before induction?

I'm being induced tomorrow at 5pm and I was wondering if it is OK to take benadryl. Not for sleep purposes but because my allergies decided to start yesterday and I keep sneezing and have a stuffy nose

Did they tell you not to eat or drink anything for a certain time before hand?? Usually they give you like a sheet of paper that tells you what you can and can't do....I'd still call and ask tho
