Is there any point to teenage relationships?

I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 16...we're really close and spend every day with each other, but I can't help but feel there is no point to a teenage relationship? So much happens and changes when you grow older, so surely they just lead to heartbreak?😫

Just because you probably won't marry the person doesn't mean you are wasting time and yes it's likely it will end in heartbreak but that's okay because you will learn from that. If you avoided everything in fear of it not having the outcome you want then you would never do anything fun or exciting!

I feel like teenage relationships help you figure out what you want/don't want in future relationships. For example: I'm now 25 and know I don't want: someone who thinks he's Robert de Niro/Al Pacino, a tobacco-chewing redneck, a gorgeous lying slime ball, a short chubby balding chain smoking 20-something, or someone who thinks its ok not to wear deodorant because he "likes the way [he] smells". I'm currently with a man who is, amazingly, none of those things and I love him so much more just thinking about that! 😂😍👏🏼😭 Long story short: the point of teenage relationships is really just to learn more about yourself until you find "The One"❤️

It really annoys me when people say they are pointless. They can mean so much to some people. I meet my boyfriend when I was 12 and started dating him when I was 14. I'm 18 and he's 21 and we are so happy together there is point and as you get older the meaning of the relationship changes :)

I think a little dating when you're younger helps you to figure out what you want in a relationship and maybe even how to deal with heartbreak, which is a good thing! Don't stay if you don't want to but there's nothing wrong with dating in your teens.
