Baby name initials

I'm curious to know if the 3 initials of a name are important? My SO and I are debating middle names, but the initials would spell B.L.T. The middle name sounds the best with the first name, but I also don't want my child to be teased as a child for having the same initials as a sandwhich. What do you guys think?
