Today I found out that I tested positive for GBS. I'm not concerned about it because my doctor assured me that they'd treat me at the hospital with penicillin and all would be fine. I was wondering though, if you do have it and they do treat it before delivery, does that mean I might be in the hospital an extra day for them to monitor the baby to make sure he doesn't get it? I can't remember what the hospital said about testing positive for it but also receiving treatment.
