Yard sale items?

How do you feel about biying your babys things crom yard sales/flea markets/thrift stores for your baby? I dont mind to buy for myself but this is my first child wasnt sure how people thought about used items for their baby?

I'm an avid thrifter. For myself, my bf, my home, anything. I'll buy new and used baby stuff. Babies are really gentle on their things, so usually the stuff is in very good used condition.

As long as they're in decent condition I buy used items. I'll go to yard sales (in nice neighborhoods lol) and get clothing for baby. Also I go to consignment shops and thrift stores. But I always wash the stuff before wearing it of course 😃

If it can be washed I say go for it lol .. Save yourself money. I bought a bassinet for my daughter from one and washed it and scrubbed it down and it looks brand spanking new lol

My twins will not be using/wearing secondhand items. It's a hangup I have.

Go for it. If they are in good condition all you have to do is wash them. Plus.. Babies maybe wear things twice so they're practically brand new :)

Literally everything I have is from a garage sale or hand me downs from family members. I have maybe two or three outfits brand new.

Why not save yourself the money. Just make sure you clean it well. We bought clothes and some toys from yard sales. Babies grow so fast, I couldn't see spending the money on all new

I LOVE YARD SALES! I'm on baby #3 so I've learned it's a waist of $ to buy all new stuff for it to only get used for a very small amount of time. The only thing I always buy new is a car seat.

I will be getting as many hand me downs and secondhand items as I can. I really don't see the point of buying brand new stuff and breaking the bank.  As long as it looks in good condition and can be cleaned I'm all for it.
