Can you gain weight if you go on the pill?

I'm a dancer and soon to be going on to do it profecionally and I'm wanting to go on the pill but Iv heard you can gain weight by it and that really not what I'm wanting... Help? 😫💛

There isnt any scientific evidence there's a direct cause and effect relationship - in a study done that tracked the weight of women who started the pill, of the women who gained weight (not all did) the average amount gained was only a pound!
