hello! I recently had a tooth feel swollen under the gums so I went to the dentist and they told me I needed a root canal but said they wouldn't do it till after I gave birth so they gave me a temporary filling, this was Monday, today is Wednesday and the filling sunk in while I was eating and now my face hurts from it. they didn't tell me not to eat on that side or anything, just if it fell out to call them

they know I'm not due till November, so I feel like that's a long time if I'm not suppose to chew on that side ( and they neglected to tell me)

anyway my questions are

do you think that's too long to have a temporary filling? (5 months)

and should I have to pay to get this fixed?
