Ligament pains??

I've been having horrible sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic/vaginal area...I'm 36weeks almost 37. Could this be dilation starting? I've read about round ligament pains but this feels lower than my belly. Literally feels like a needle poking me down there lol sorry tmi. Just wondering if anyone is having the same pain!

I'll be 37 weeks Sunday and I'm having this happen very often along with Braxton hicks.. It's babys head dropping into your cervix, getting ready for labor. I also have pelvic pressure that's pretty painful at times, so I know we're getting close!

I am having the same pains. Almost 37 weeks. It feels different than the round ligament pain I've felt, but I don't want to worry too much. I wish I had an answer for you.
