Owlet or Mimo?

I'm a FTM and keep seeing ads for the owlet baby monitor so I finally looked into it. Anyone have any experience with it or Mimo? Obviously would love to have the peace of mind that it claims to give but wondering if it actually works or what people thought. Thanks!

I bought the Owlet for my baby who is due in October. My husband had a brother who died of SIDS and he said we NEEDED it for peace of mind for him. We are also naming our son's middle name after his brother who passed.

We bought the angelcare monitor, it monitors the babies movements/breathing and if nothing happens for 30 or so seconds an alarm goes off. It also has the 2-way talk feature, the regular sound monitor, temperature, and video. We wanted one that had everything. We will see how it works in July!!

I have the owlet! It's kinda Spendy but my baby boy isn't due until September so I won't use it until then but I know a couple people that have it and love it!

I just got the owlet and I let my sister use it for a couple weeks I'm not due until July 3rd and she LOVED it so much she's getting her own. I was worried about the cost too butttttt they allow payments :) I loved that part.

I have been contemplating about getting the owlet as well. Tricky part is the expensive piece because we are having twins! But you're righ, there is no price tag for peace of mind, so if any other users have them I would love to hear stories. Thanks for posting this!! 😊👶🏼👶🏼

We bought Mimo :) baby due in 4 days, so far we just tested it on the dog haha app is very user friendly, set up is easy. It tells you baby's temperature, heart beat,   sleeping position, you can listen in as well. Notifies you if baby is about to wake up. 
Downside is that you have to put the mimo onsie every night (they might be all dirty at the same time and you may not be able to use it) however they do sell them separately in different colors as well, but you still pretty much depend on them.
