So beyond lucky...

So this is my mother in law! Honestly I feel like I lucked out with this one! Not only is she loving, supportive, and intelligent, but we've become such good friends. Two and a half years ago, she suddenly lost her eldest daughter. Even though I wasn't married to her son yet, she found it easy to confide in me and I felt privileged to be there for her. Only now is the light beginning to truly linger in her eyes and I'm so glad to have been a help to her. There are days when we cry for her, but time heals and life has a way of putting the people you need into your life.
