Membrane sweep success stories?!

Question

Anyone have their membranes stripped and have a success story they would like to share? I had mine done around 2:45pm yesterday and I just feel like nothing is going to happen. I was also 3cm dilated and 50% effaced when he did my cervix check.

Update: Ellie Mae was born 6/10/16 at 4:37 am! 7lbs and 19.5 inches long! No pain meds and no epidural! Water sac came out and busted and then it was basically push time for baby! I would say the membrane sweep was a success!!

Update: 72 hours after sweep: I'm currently in L&D at 8cm just waiting on water to naturally break.. Last night contractions got super intense.. They were still very scattered from 5-8 min and I was only dilated at a 4 and they were going to send me home until I was about 6 because I was a FTM but they took my word on the contractions intensifying quickly and admitted me. Luckily they did because things are moving along pretty quickly within an two hours I was begging for epidural! So good luck!

Had mine stripped yesterday, I was dilated to 3cm, and 90% effaced and I was having some contractions last night but now they stopped, so let's see if it worked in the next couple days.😔

This Monday I had my membranes swept at around 2:20 pm. I had my baby Wednesday at 2:36 pm!

Update: came into labor and delivery for contractions and not feeling the baby move. I was 5cm dilated and 80% effaced!! Looks like a baby tonight or tomorrow!!

They say a sweep will only work if you were due to go into labour in the next 48hours anyway x

Had my sweep Tuesday its now 48 hours later and I woke up to lots of bloody mucus and back contractions on and off. They were consistent for a few hours and seemed to have slowed maybe. I just don't want to go in until it's almost unbearable.

Just had my membranes swept about half an hour ago! 40 weeks and 2 days! 3cm dilated and 50 percent effaced! Hope she comes soon!
