So yesterday I went in for my 25 week check up & I told my OB about me getting a stethoscope so I could listen to my baby girl's heartbeat if I started to get worried cuz of lack of movement. She then proceeded to tell me a story about another patient who did that & basically that even if there's a good heartbeat that if you're worried you should go get checked out cuz a good heartbeat doesn't always mean that everything is OK. The other patient nearly lost her baby cuz she waited to go in cuz she heard a good heartbeat. I get why my OB told me about this but still why did she have to twist my nerves like that? I can't just go to the hospital everytime I get a little worried cuz I live 1hr away from the nearest hospital that has a labor & delivery & me & my Fiancée only have one car & he takes the car to where he works 12hr shifts 7 days a week.
