"Twins?"

Um, no....but screw you very much :) Why is it so common for people to ask someone who is pregnant if they're having twins? Do people not realize that there's a a human being, amniotic fluid, and placenta (along with intestines and other normal abdominal cavity occupants) all fighting for space in my body?! Yes, I'm 40 weeks pregnant and officially past my due date. Long gone are the days of an adorable little bump. However, I personally feel like it's rude to ask something like that no matter how far along or how big you think they might be.
