Acne??

Question

I heard birth control can help with acne. Last time i was on birth control, it DID NOT help at all, & in fact, it made it worse. Which one actually works??

Everybody is different but I was on Lutera (Avianne) for close to 5 years probably and my acne progressively got worse and more and more cystic. Just a few months back I switched to Minastrin 24 Fe and I love it! I will get an occasional pimple but nothing like I had before having multiple huge cystic pimples. I would talk to your gyn and see what she thinks would work best for you.

I have horrible cystic acne and was put on Tri Sprintec to get rid of it. Here's a before and after photo of my acne. The photo on the left was from a year ago and the photo on the right was taken after one month of Tri Sprintec use. Hope this helps!!

My first birth control I was on really didn't do anything about my acne it was really the same as it was before I would start my period no difference, but this new one I'm on has made me break out more than usual. I've noticed and so has my mom. Like I've gotten these small little red bumps all over my cheeks and chin. I hate it
