Wanted to share my story.

I deleted this app a few days ago because it was to hard to keep reliving my missed miscarriage but I came back to share my story and hopefully help someone who is scared, worried and as upset as me. We went to our gender sonogram at 16 weeks to find out the baby had no heartbeat and passed away at 13 weeks. 6 days later (yesterday) I had my D&C. The doctor let me choose between taking a pill to open my cervix and passing the baby at home or skipping that and just having a D&C. The procedure wasn't bad. They put me to sleep and I don't remember anything. Everyone was very nice and compassionate at the hospital and I was home after several hours. Today I am having a lot of side effects from the anesthesia - muscle aches and spasms from where they relax your muscles to put the tube down your throat and out you to sleep. Also a sore throat from that. As far as the actual D&C I stopped bleeding right after I got home yesterday and having had anymore for now. I know everyone's experience can be different I just hope this will help ease someone's mind who's went through this. I was worried to death a few days ago. Sorry you're going through this. God Bless.
