I cannot figure out when I am having a period on my IUD and am wondering if anyone else is having this experience. I've never had regular periods, it just kind of happens whenever. I constantly have what my OBGYN says is "old blood" appearing at random, and in different amounts. Basically, My usual discharge is tinted brown pretty much all the time and occasionally I have a few days where I have what I always understood to be an "old blood period." I rarely bleed red. Recently though, I've started getting cramps/feeling moody immediately AFTER this weird, painless pseudo period and now I'm wondering if I'm having a period at all (remember, am on IUD).  How do I tell the difference between an actual period versus old blood discharge? I feel like a bloody idiot (ha) - I'm 30 years old and can't tell when I'm on my period. I'm not even sure when to log in Glow! Anyone have tips, tricks, or similar experiences?
