Strong positive, possible twins?

Is it true that some women that get strong positive could end up with twins? My grandma from my mother's side was a twin, so I wonder what are my chances.

With your grandmother being a twin,  you are predisposed to having twins.  However,  a dark line didn't indicate twins.  The more hCG in you pee,  the darker the line,  so how far along you are when you tested plays a role too.  I had really dark lines,  even before my missed AF.  I have one baby in the oven. 
I'm crossing my fingers that you have twins in there.

Not really. Lots of single babies have strong, early positive tests.

My positive was like that and I only had one baby. It's just a matter of how much hcg is in your system.
