Spending time away with the boyfriend???

So I want to ask my mum if my boyfriend and I could go to somewhere like Melbourne for a few days during my extended holidays and I don't know what she'd say. I've never been able to have a boy stay over let alone go away with him but I trust him and she seems to trust him. Just need some opinions please?
