My dog is a TROOPER
WHAT A DAY! Not pregnancy related but have to share! So I got off of my first training day at work today to find my phone blown up with emails and phone calls and texts from my roommates and apartment managers and boyfriend saying that my dog was loose. No one was home and we were all very confused and worries so I immediately emailed the apartment manager back to find out that Nova had jumped off of our two story balcony!! TWO STORIES! I immediately fell into a panic and was worried sick wondering if she was okay or had broken limbs or if she was lost or who had her! They said animal control had picked her up but that turned out to be false which made me even more scared because we live on a really busy highway and no one had seen her in hours. One of my neighbors, Tyler, heard me freaking out on the phone with my mom and offered to help look for her. Him and his wife drive around in seperate cars to help me and my roommate cover more ground. after driving around random neighborhood's for hours calling for her I got a phone call from Tyler saying he saw her near our complex but she was scared and was running away from them and crossed the highway. I sped home and started yelling out her name and out of nowhere Nova came running at me! By some miracle she has no broken bones, no real damage, aside from bloody paws. She's now all cleaned up and laying in bed for the night. I honestly didn't know if I would find her, and I thought for sure I would find her in really bad shape if I did. I have never felt so relieved and so happy. This dog is honestly my life I love her so much, so happy to have her home with us 💓🏡 (and no more balconies for Nova bug) Also My neighbors are incredible, spent hours helping out total strangers find their dog. We're inviting them to lunch sometime this week cause we adore them after this haha.
