When will you stop working?

Question

I've been asked 3 times this week when I am going to stop working and when I'm going to be put on bed rest to carry my twins through the last trimester. What's your plan?

I stopped at 19 weeks. My manager was not working with me on light duty and there as a LOT of drama that was keeping me at a constant high stress level and I began having BH. I went on my disability after my husband and j discussed it and decided it was the best option for myself and our family.

I was placed on disability at 24 weeks...I was only working 4 hours a day and disability was paying me the rest of my time. I am 30 weeks and 4 days now and I was just taken off work, my last day was Friday, the 10th. I'm not on bed rest but I  am being watched for pre-term labor and gestational diabetes. My main source of pain is the pelvic pressure - it was just too much and the swelling in my feet....I had a lot of trouble walking and getting around.

I stopped at 26 weeks... I just couldn't do it anymore. My doctor put me on disability at 30 weeks

I worked up until I went into labor. I went to work the Friday then NYC had a massive snow storm over the weekend it wasn't safe for me to make the commute on Monday so said I would call Monday morning to let them know. Come Monday morning I was calling to tell them I was in labor and my maternity leave has officially started. After 30+ hours of labor I had my little boy on Tuesday. That was January 26 and I have yet to go back to work. We couldn't even get the car out of the drive way because of the storm had to take a cab.

If Cali we get 4 weeks off before the birth, but I'm estimating the twins will come at 36 or 37 weeks. I have a long commute so definitely want to stop that by 32 weeks but may work from home as needed. I have a corporate job.

I plan to stop working since 31 weeks ! I want to do my best to avoid preterm labor !

Everyone assumes I'll be in bed rest because I'm having twins. My doctors are dead set against it unless you have a membrane separation or cervix issue, etc. they said it causes more harm than good. I'm planning to work as long as I can u too they tell me to stop. I'm scheduled for a csection at 36.2 and i am 30w now. I have a desk job

We are moving so I am having to quit my job at 24 weeks and will be a stay at home mom for the foreseeable future. If we weren't moving I would try to work as long as possible though into 32-34 weeks if I could!

I am not carrying multiples so I'm sure it's different but I plan on working until I go into labor. It's rough but I can still do my job so why stop. Talk with your doctor see what they say
