My Ob is a wonderful doctor.. He always is very upbeat and never worries you (unless there is cause for concern) well this is my 3rd child...

1st child I was in prodromal labor for 2 weeks strait. For 4weeks I was 4cm dilated, 80%effaced and baby was engaging. I was very against induction so my doctor made a deal that I could go to 42 weeks as long as baby was not stressed.. Well at 3:45am the morning I turned 42 weeks my water broke at home (I live 70minutes away from hospital) I had no contractions all back labor... My son was in my arms at exactly 6:50am (3hr labor for my 1st child)

2nd child I was NOT dilated, effaced, dropped ... Nothing at all and I was 41 weeks +5 days..I started getting protein in my urine so I had to be induced. I was admitted at 8:00pm from the time pitocin was given to me to the time my daughter was in my arms was only 2.5hrs!!! She was born at exactly 10:30pm... my doctor was in shock how fast it was being induced!

I still live in the same home 70 minutes away. I'm 36 weeks... 85% effaced, 3cm dilated, and baby is engaging... My doctor just told me he is worried I will not make it to the hospital in time and wants to induce.. The problem is he will not induce till 39 weeks and he doesn't know if I'll even be pregnant by then.. I have no family that is closer and I'm officially worried my baby is going to be born on the site of the road!! Any suggestions what to do????
