My son is 13, my daughter will soon be 10, and baby is due in December.  The kids are really excited and have turned into such good helpers.

My step son is 11 years older than Grayson and will be 13 years older than Jaxson (due aug31) .... When Grayson was born I never pushed his brother on to him.... And made sure the family didn't go right to the baby when they come to visit so he wouldn't feel pushed aside.... And now I never ask him to watch his brother or do anything that is my responsibility.... I've had other family members basically treat their older children as a live in babysitter/parent ... And I vowed I would never do that to my step son

I have three children from a previous marriage aged 16, 14 and almost 11. My older two are extremely upset about this baby and my youngest is over the moon happy. I've learned not to push the baby on the older children, let them come to you. Lots changed in the last 10 years in babies, from products available, knowledge in child raising. Take classes if even if you've done them many moons ago and enjoy the ride. Congrats!

My son will be 7 when his little brother/sister arrives. My brother and I are 10 years apart and it was no fun being the youngest. So I didn't want that big of a gap. I wanted 5 year gap but things didn't work out like that because I had an ectopic, but now I'm 15 weeks with my rainbow baby and my son couldn't be happier to be a big brother.

My hubby is 22 his sister is 12. They aren't close at all. They barely talk & when they do it's arguing.

I have a 14, 13, & 5 year old. I am due December 23rd with my last (and suprise) baby. In January my 14 year old will turn 15 and my 5 year old will be 6. Feels like we are starting over just when we were making progress. These teenagers are killing me lol!!
