What do you think of a woman proposing to a man?

Occasionally when I am talking to my boyfriend, he jokes about me proposing to him and says things along the lines of "Yes, we will get married. I'm just waiting for you to propose!" However, this got me thinking about the topic and I was curious about other people's thoughts on it.

These responses jesus christ. Listen it doesnt matter and the only reason the "Guy" was made to do the purposing cause society likes to enforce gender roles on people. Also misogyny. The man suppose to purpose and take "care" of the wife. Be the "provider" type crap. Now if you're a girl who doesnt mind this go ahead but don't stick to this crap cause you don't know any better. Educate yourself hun.

This is the way I look at it. Or at least this is how I am... Women are emotional, hormonal, moody. They change their minds a lot. We all love our boyfriends and want to get married as soon as possible but this is why I think the guys should do it. If women done it we would be getting married quick. When the guy does it, you know it's for real:)

Just for my preference, I wouldn't. One of the reasons is for the fact that my boyfriend is the "dominant" one in most aspects of our relationship, so I know he'd like to do it. But, if a female would like to propose to her boyfriend, by all means :)
