Is it bad to care for other kids when they aren't yours?

Question

Since I was little I loved babysitting. As I was getting older taking care of kids was something I enjoyed doing. I worked in a daycare taking care of infants and the teachers would tell me the kids aren't used to seeing new faces but as soon as I walked in they were cheerful and playing with me. I have even babysat a 5month old over the weekend while the parents went on a business trip. I feel like parents trust me but with the news and how bad things happen to kids I don't want people to think everyone does bad things because we don't! Please comment

I was a nanny for 10 years for the same family with 3 kids. Thus job paid for undergrad, graduate school and my wedding...and....those kids are my babies....I am their family and they are mine. I went through so many phases if life and milestones with them ...I left them a year ago to pursue my current career and start my own family but still see them 2-3 times per month. My husband and I have traveled throughout Eastern Europe, Asia and the US with them and the kids are with my family on Easter and 4th of July.

I wouldn't have it any other way!😉
