MamaRoo?!

Question

Did anyone get the mamaroo?? I really want one. But I'm not sure if people have actually thought it was worth it.

Was it better than a regular swing? Did your baby like it more?? It's expensive and I don't want to get it if it isn't worth it.!!!

She liked it for about 7 days - that's all the use we got out of it :( now it just takes up space. For us not worth it - but depends on your baby I suppose!

My daughter HATED the Mamaroo, but really likes her Rockaroo!

We were given one, it's not amazing. We've tried different settings, sounds, and off. She didn't like it. We put an infant support cushion insert in it (it was made for a stroller) and she likes it better but still won't stay in it awake, only while sleep or falling asleep.

If a regular swing works just as well, I might as well just go that route.

Personally I think it's too expensive and we wouldn't have it if the neighbor wasn't selling for half price. Aside from price, My son seems to like it. He loves to sleep in it.

I have it. So not worth the money. Get something that's nonelectric, babies tend to like them better

It really depends on the baby. My little guy loves it and it's been great for us. I registered for the Rockaroo, but my husband's aunt bought us the Mamaroo instead. I probably wouldn't have bought it myself, but I'm really glad we have it.

my neighbor who were very close with bought it for us for our up coming baby shower. she got such a good deal on it and had millions of coupons lol. I was looking at it and it seems very high tech that you can control the controls right off of your phone. hopefully our baby likes it! if my neighbor didn't insist on buying it for us I probably wouldn't have gotten it.
