Freebies!?

Question

I'm a first time mom and I've heard of a couple of people getting free samples or coupons etc...any advice on what I can do just to save that little extra money or try out new products?

I will just say to go to all of the Babies-R-Us registry events! They are completely free and takes about an hour and they give you a bag of stuff (samples and maybe hangers, a bottle, diaper trials, or formula) just for showing up and then there is usually a raffle at the end where they give stuff away! I went to one last weekend and got a bottle brush at the raffle but some of the ladies got a baby tub, one of the flower bath things, a 3-in-1 bouncy seat, a Lansinoh Smart Breast Pump and more! For free!

So far I've seen that Sam's club sends you a baby box 100% free, walmart will send one for $5(to cover shipping fee), and EverythingFamily will send you coupons and samples.

Hey guys, I did a 3D/4D ultrasound middle of last week and they gave me a new mommy goody bag. In it were coupons for a couple free things, so I just wanted to spread the wealth:
1. Free nursing pillow ($40 value) with coupon code D5965114E when used at www.nursingpillow.com
Yes, the pillow is free but be forewarned that the cheapest shipping option to my house was $14.99. It was still half the cost of the nursing pillow from my registry.
2. Free nursing cover (value $35) with coupon code 11B824958 when used at www.uddercovers.com
Again, had to pay shipping costs. Still cheaper than the nursing cover on my registry.
3. Free car seat canopy ($50 value) with coupon code SIMDK7914CC when used at carseatcanopy.com
I didn't order this one because to me it isn't necessary. Still thought I'd share!

I got my coupons and samples from Target when I opened a baby registry. I read some people got theirs from Similac, Gerber, and Enfamil websites when they enrolled. I just signed up yesterday.

Also theres always the goodie bags they give you for doing registries. I have one at babies r us(never went to get that back yet) & target
Target gave a few small samples, coupons, a pacifier, a bottle, & a little bottle of johnsons soap.
I've heard babies r us does basically the same and sometimes they even give full sized formula containers if youre interested in that.
Pretty much any place you register has some sort of gift baggy
