What do i do!

My boyfriend doesn't have kids of his own but signed the birth certificate to his ex's kids. And now we are dating and I have my kids and he treats them so rudely but treats his (ex's) like angels . And I tried telling him multiple times to treat them equally as he would his own and he keeps saying "okay" but doesn't change. And I don't know what to do about his exs kids. Sure they are "his" they have his last name for he is on the birth certificate but I'm just wondering if that's ever going to change. Like what if me and him get married. He doesn't want me around them because his ex doesnt want us around.. like I totally don't get this.. I feel like since that's his ex he should let the kids go too. Or slowly drift away because they aren't his but still??

If he's not treating your children right, why would you ever even consider marrying this man?! Kids first. Leave him.

That being said, his ex's kids are also his kids, biological or not. Accept that or end this now.

You don't just stop loving children. You as a mother should know that. They are his kids because he loves them, regardless of biology. I was raised by a man who was not my biological father. He and my mother are not together, but he's still the only dad I've ever known. Don't even attempt to take that from him and those kids. He's working on getting better with your kids and that's all he can do.

By law he is there father. He signed that BIRTH certificate I.e he has been there since birth!! He IS there father. My daughter's father is not her biological father either, he signed her BIRTH certificate. So by LAW he is. Weather he drifts away or not he will have to pay child support if she chooses. The fact that you even think that just because those children did not come from his sperm that they are not his children is very sad.....

By signing that birth certificate and deciding to stick by those kids they are legally his children. So basically your asking him to pick you and YOUR children over HIS children. And that's wrong on so many levels. They may not have his DNA but it's the same as adopting children. You sign a paper that makes them yours and makes you promise to love and care for them as long as you shall live. That commitment doesn't end just because he is no longer with the mother of those children. I understand you want him to treat your children better but you also need to understand that you can not ask him to forget about his kids. That's so wrong. If he doesn't wish to treat your kids correctly then you need to walk away from him. But as a mother you should know well enough that a parent can't just walk away from their child. Biological or not.

Mom married a man who treated us badly. My sister is now scared to have a bf or even think about marriage, my brother has anger issues and tried to commit suicide and I am bipolar and often give my husband a hard time. All of us have little to no respect for our mother because in our eyes she aborted us after we was born. Do you really want that to describe your children later on. Leave him while you got a chance.

Him treating your kids rudely is an issue but it's the only issue. I wouldn't want to be with someone who could abandon children he raised whether they're his or not. He loves them and they love him, I can't believe you'd even expect him to "drift away" from them. So selfish. Your ONLY issue should be how he treats your children, not his relationship with his ex's children.
