18, Has A Child and Getting Married

I'm sitting in class waiting for it to start. There was still about 30mins left but the room was pretty full. Then I overheard this lady telling her friends that she just received a text from her daughter's boyfriend inviting her to their wedding on June 24. So she gets into the back story. Couple of weeks ago, the boyfriend approached both parents asking for their daughter's hand in marriage but they didn't give their blessing because their daughter is 18, just had a baby 5 months ago with another guy who's not in the picture. The mother pays all the bills at home; husband doesn't work.The boyfriend who's 24 just got laid off from work! So they're plan after marriage: move in with the 18 yr old parents. Mother is pissed because she's going to have an additional mouth to feed. At this point, everyone in the class tuned in to listen to her. What if this was your daughter?
