Your SO's Reaction to a POSITIVE?

How did your significant other react when you got a big ol' positive?! I'm dying to know haha. Here is mine and please share yours! Congrats to all preggo mamas and baby dust to those TTC! ❤️

My husband heard crinkling wrappers coming from the bathroom. He knew that I was a week late and thought I had started my period and I was opening a pad wrapper. "Did you start, babe?" He yelled from the living room. "Maybe. But I'm okay!", I replied. I didn't want him to know I bought pregnancy tests on my way home because we've had many negatives before and were tired of wasting money on them. This time, I couldn't help myself. There was a gut feeling telling me to test. I had to do it one last time before we gave it a rest for a while. I peed and only one line appeared. My heart sank, but I was okay. Literally right then as I prepared to wipe and move on with my evening, the second line popped up! I couldn't believe my eyes and I burst out in tears. It wasn't even faint, as you can see. It was bold. I pulled up my pants and without even zipping, bolted from the bathroom and jumped on the couch next to where my husband was sitting. "What is this? YOU'RE PREGNANT?", followed by a gigantic hug, some tears and complete shock. I took another test the next morning and it came back positive almost immediately. Today, I'm 9 weeks and seriously can not wait. This is our first baby. Doctor said everything looks great and we have a due date of 01/17/17, which is our 2 year wedding anniversary. ❤️

For a whole week my husband kept insisting I was pregnant. He insisted the entire 1 week before my missed period because he knows my period start and end dates. Everything I did he kept saying it's cause your pregnant. We would go out to eat and I would order food and eat the entire thing (I usually always ask for a box because i never finish anything) he would say you ate all of that because your pregnant. I would respond "or I'm hungry stupid" I would talk on the phone to my girlfriends and would tell them that my boobs usually hurt 3 days before my period comes on but they did hurt this time... He walked past the bedroom door leaned in and said its cause your pregnant. So he finally came home with a box of pregnancy test and told me to pee on them. Clear blue digital usually takes 3 mins for results it said pregnant in 25 seconds. I threw the test at him and he said see I told you you're pregnant.

I had been feeling off and having intense heart palpitations and was starting to see a dr about it. I mentioned to my SO maybe I should test just to rule it out before my second appointment. All morning he was texting me to see if I had tested yet. 
At lunch I went and did a test and it came up straight away.. I sent him a pic and he rang immediately and was soooo excited

That's so sweet congrats!
I had a feeling I wasn't just late because of my change in birth control. So I bought a test after I took my little sister to school. There were two in the box so I opened them both. Before I could pee o the second test the first one already had 2 lines. I almost started to cry, but they were happy tears lol. I couldn't wait until lunch to go see my husband I called him right then. He's a mailman so he was walking his route. As soon as he answered I said, "You're going to be a dad!" He was so excited he said he's knees got weak for a second lol. It's one of the best times ever!

My at the time fiancé now husband was so excited I thought he was gonna cry we say in the bathroom for a few mins and we talked about keeping it a secrete until we knew for sure everything was okay. His mom knew the next day at lunch. He can't lie or keep secrets from anyone I mean anyone

We planned this pregnancy so when I told him we were expecting, he was already expecting to hear that. Haha! He was excited of course! But he had that "my lil guys are soldiers and never fail a mission" smirk. No tears, no emotions...just satisfaction

My hubby looked at me and was like;

For real? Are you serious? Really?? For real??

Lol then he came and kissed me and hugged me 😂

I secretly took a test one morning then set it aside and started making breakfast while my SO ran to the store. While he was gone I checked it and was in shock lol. As soon as he got back I paused cooking and just said 'guess what' and handed him the test. He said 'are you for real?' And I said 'that's what it says haha'. He fell to the floor and just started crying he was so happy; he dropped everything he had in his hands.

My husband figured it out before I did. Full time student plus 40 hrs a week at my job had me yanking my hair out.

He wanted me to test. I kept telling him that I just had the stomach bug that was going around campus and there wasn't a point. But he just knew it so I told him to go get a test, I'd prove to him I wasn't. He said he'd prove he was right.

He went and got 2 tests.

I was wrong.

Come to find out I was about 2-2 1/2 months pregnant.

Congrats! We did IVF so there was no big surprise. I called him when I got the news and he cried. Like you, we're also due on our anniversary (with twins), except it will be our 15th wedding anniversary.
