itchy itchy

I do not know what's going on the very tip of my right nipple is so itchy. it's unbearable. I've put lotion on it to try to ease the pain. no redness. no other symptom to go along with it. has anyone experienced this? I think it's too early for it to be a pregnancy symptom I'm only 5dpo.
