What does it feel like?

Does early labor feel like period cramps that wrap around your hips, belly and back? How does it progress after that? I'm 38 weeks omg it hurts haha.

Yes best I could describe is its like period pains the slowly get worse and worse

That's how my labor started. I was watching TV on the couch and felt period like cramps come on quickly. It started in my back and I felt like I needed to go to the bathroom. That started 10 hours before the birth.

Yes yes yes period like cramps! My first pregnancy I thought something was wrong because I was cramping so bad all night into the morning. I went to the hospital to find out I was 4 cm dilated! It wasn't until on the way to the hospital that the contractions began coming in waves rather than constant cramp feeling
