When did you announce your baby name?

I'm pretty sure I want to wait until after my baby is born to announce her name, especially on facebook to everyone, but maybe just tell a few close family members.
I just want her to name to a surprise! ❤
Just curious as to what everyone else plans on doing, or did!

We told people before we knew the gender we had the name for girl and for boy. We haven't announced it on Facebook and won't until he's born, but close friends and family know.

We knew the name we wanted as soon as we found out we were pregnant and told people as they asked even before we knew the gender.

We have told certain people but when we announce the gender we will tell all. Because honestly, I'd love for someone to tell me they didn't like the name. And I'd tell them I didn't like them giving their opinion when it wasn't asked for.

I'm usually much nicer than that but I find that so rude! As for others stealing the name... I don't know anyone else pregnant and if someone did end up copying it, oh well. My kids aren't going to be the only ones with that name in the world and that's okay

I reallllly wanna tell everybody once we have our gender reveal party that way maybe for the baby shower the baby could get some gifts with their name on it but then again I wanna keep it a secret for birth like a whole new surprise for everybody 😍
