PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

So I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and everyone around me has kinda been telling me that I "follow him like a puppy" and we have been fighting for about a week now. But I met a guy at work and he gives me butterflies like I've never felt before. I just don't know what to do about my boyfriend because I really enjoy talking and hanging out with the other guy.
