What name goes with Carmen as middle name?

I've always wanted to name my baby girl (if it's a girl) "Carmen", because that's my mother's name and I want to honor her. However, my husband does not want the "Carmen" to be the first name. I'm Mexican and he's American, so I am kind of confused as to what name should I give my child that can embrace both nationalities, without making it sound too weird!
