When is a good time to pop the question? 💍

Me and my Boyfriend have been together for a year this September, have known each other for 9 years. Our relationship is sooo blissful, we're getting a place together in Sept 😁!
My question is, when should marriage become a topic, when is it a good time to bring up popping the question 💍... Or should I mention it at all? In his past relationship (he's only been in one other relationship) he was pressured into proposing pretty early, they weren't even together for 6 months, and he ended up being pretty unhappy with that person, lord knows I do not want to make the same mistake. I need some advice, what do you ladies think?

I would have a normal conversation where you talk about the future and if he wants to get married, if yes then when blah blah... No pressure, just talk

They usually won't propose until they're ready, unless coerced or pressure. And the best time is when they're ready, because then they are as ecstatic as you are. 👍🏻

My bf and I have been together for 3 years. We moved in together about a month ago.  Still no ring yet. I think you guys should settle into that new place first. But in the meantime bring up subtle hints. Don't make it seem like u need it to happen right now. Still give it room to be his decision. But let him know you're ready.

He will pop the question when he is ready, don't ask him about it, then he might feel pressured into it, knowing you want to get married. You never know, he could be planning a proposal right now. Just let him decide, even though you might be ready.

It's all up to him. I mean you could start a conversation about what your ideal timeline is for wedding, kids, career, etc and that could get him thinking, but it really depends on the guy. Most people I know have been together for at least a year before the proposal. Of course my relationship totally threw that out the window- he knew he wanted to marry me 5 months into the relationship, had a ring by 7 months, proposed just shy of a year, and then we married 3 years later.

There's no perfect time frame. It when it feels right and is perfect for you. I was living with my fiancé 6 months after we started dating, but he didn't pop the question until we reached 18 months.

There is no good time, it's when you're BOTH ready. My husband proposed after 4 years of being together, we got married a year later after our engagment. We've been together in all for 7.5 years now.
