all infant formula has iron added in it, if you are concerned about it, you should consult babys pediatrician. also about what formula and brand might be best for your baby, lots of babys can only handle certain kinds

With my son we used enfamil and I noticed with that formula he got very constipated (he was the same age as your baby) I would have to water down his formula (like for four oz instead of two scoops, I would do 1 1/2) or give him an oz of water to make him poop. That would be my concern with giving added iron. Formula already has so much. So, I'd be careful with that. Personally I loved similac .

I would also like to know others experience with this. My daughter has been on it, but is constipated!! She grunts and groin when pooping. I see Merranda said to use less formula per water and I just might do that instead of adding karo syrup.
