My husband is from florida and I've been once. It's beautiful. He always talks about the springs and the beaches but he says that you want to go to one of the less popular because it's mostly locals that know the safety and also less crowded so more fun. There's also great shopping in the city's. If you happen to go through western ky in the way lousiville is awesome. I love in eastern ky but lousiville is a big city with awesome and cheap musems (musem row) 6 events for $30 called the main ticket or main event ticket. Includes Muhammad Ali musem, science center, and lousiville slugger factory, etc. Also had an amazing zoo and you can find things to do about anywhere you go and people are super friendly for a big city. I've heard good and had about myrtle beach depending on when you go and where you stay but I hear the beaches up north are amazing with the lighthouses and boardwalks. Good luck and enjoy.

Ocean City, MD is a little crowded this time of year but still nice. Rehobeth Beach or Bethany Beach is nice in DE. Assateague Island is really cool about 30minutes away from Ocean City MD of you don't mind camping. They have wild horses there and it's right off the beach. I used to camp there every summer as a kid. I hope you enjoy yourself!
