High blood pressure?

Question

At my 33,34,35 week appointments my blood pressure was high. 152/98, 161/102, and 157/100. But they make me lay in my left side and recheck it about 15 minutes later and it goes down. They told me to watch it at home and to go to labor and delivery if it ever gets high. I've been checking it and it's running high but then when I check it again about an hour later it's down. All my blood work was good and urine too. Anybody know what can cause this. Currently 36 weeks 2 days.

I'm only 11 weeks and my blood pressure is already between 137 and 140...the hospital today (I had to go to the ER for non baby reasons) said they would like my blood pressure closer to 120. I was told to cut sodium out if my diet.

I had the same problem except mine was more like 180/120 which is really bad, I wasn't preeclamptic tho. I was on blood pressure meds starting at 20 weeks and they kept increasing it but it didn't help so I was induced at 37 weeks and after delivery my BP was completely normal.

I don't want to be alarmist, but it can be a sign of preeclampsia. I would say rest as much as possible and communicate often with your doctor.

I had the same situation with my son. It goes up when you move around a lot. Just stay as still as you can. Don't over do it. Hope this helps!:)
