Were you scheduled for an ultrasound? Typically ultrasounds are scheduled separately...all offices are different though. One thing to note, is if you are unsure of your last period, then they might need to do a dating ultrasound to get your due date....

My first appt was with my ob he is direct with all his patients, he did pap smear and everything else no ultrasound was done that day ,I went week after and had transvaginal ultrasound done and then I see him in two weeks

I had my first ultrasound at 7w. Saw my OB every 4w until 28w, then every 2w until 35, then every week until I delivered on my due date at exactly 40w :) good luck!

It truly depends on when you lmp was. My first ultrasound was at 8weeks. I'd call and ask if you really want to know.

Your first appointment is usually with your nurse practitioner for med history and a Pap smear. About a week later I had a transvaginal ultrasound with my OB to date. Haven't seen her since, I saw my NP up until now. I'm 27 weeks, and at 28 weeks you start meeting with your OB instead and much more frequently.
